We're sorry that it looks so. We're trying to keep it up to date with recent posts and events reviews. However, sometimes, one team with several posters isn't enough for making forum look healthy.

Currently, we have more then 250+ subscribers, but, unlikely, the most of them prefer to read, but not to share. Opposite to this opinion, we're sure that there are a lot of things you can share with us and we can help you with, but you need to ask first.

We'll do our best to add more interesting and exclusive content to the forum to give it more informational power. We're also going to start motivating people to post by performing giveaways and presenting with gifts. Keep an eye, we are still on track.

Thanks for staying up with us.

Paul Buchheit (the creator of Gmail and one of the speakers at Startup School 2007 http://www.bosstalks.com/topic/52) posted a very clear post about shares in startup and changes, which happen to them during the fundraising stages. A very nice post, highly recommended to read for everyone.

http://paulbuchheit.blogspot.com/2007/03/equity-math-for-startups.html

You may find Explanation of Certain Terms Used In Venture Financing Terms Survey useful while reading the post (see http://www.fenwick.com/VC_Terms.htm).

Although, I got a question right away. What happens if the option pool is completely exhausted, but the company still need to hire new people, and the old employees have quit, but took shares?
